Key features
- System overview: The system includes DX/DT series distributors and YET/YA series lubricators according to customer's needs.
- - Lubricates at a steady flow rate in every cycle.
- - Oil viscosity and lubrication time do not affect the flow rate.
- - The system must cooperate with lubricators that include pressure release devices; a pressure switch is recommended.
- - Recommended for lubrication applications with higher requirements.
- DFA-SERIES OPERATION:
- 1. Oil is drawn from the reservoir by the pump and fed through the main line to the distributor. Pressure buildup in the centralized lubrication system moves the collar toward the outlet of the upper metering chamber.
- 2. In this process, pressure closes the outlet at the collar and pushes the spring-loaded piston toward the outlet, discharging lubricant from the upper metering chamber.
- 3. When the spring-loaded piston stops, discharge ceases.
- 4. When the lubricator is switched off, pressure in the main line is released, and the collar returns to its normal position, closing the main line and opening the outlet to the upper metering chamber. Lubricant moves from the lower to the upper metering chamber via spring tension and is stored. The distributor is then ready for the next pre-lubrication cycle.
